How does this service work?
Searches on the portal are sent to the search API, which covers several different sources - general and legal publications, persons and organisations, vocabularies, web pages, etc. It searches in text content and metadata and returns the most relevant documents. It will also make autocomplete suggestions as you type and it can find similar publication based on a publication a user have just visited.

Logged in users can save searches and receive notifications when new documents matching the search are published. With the search widget a particular search can be embedded on another website. The underlying search engine is Elasticsearch.
